Thanks to your help, you donated enough money for me to get the first step done!
Let me explain how this works:
In Hungary, in order to a trans person to start transitioning, we need to see 3 doctors. Needing to pay each one. Hardly, but with some help (before I made the fundraiser) I managed to see the first 2 doctors. Each cost about 45,000 HUF (about $150 USD), I got help from family -even though we're all really broke- and that makes 45,000 HUF for the psychologists' diagnoses paper, plus 45,000 HUF to the psychiatrist for her papers...however, the 3rd doctor costs double the price because they need to make a lot of tests to make sure of the right amount of Testosterone I'll be subscribed, if I can be at all. The tests look for what could go wrong. Possible cancer for example. So to the physical doctor I'll need to pay somewhere between 70,000-90,000 HUF.
Thanks to you, I can afford that, the travel fee to get to the doctors within the city, and some months of Testosterone as well! I just need the appointment now!
Within one year of starting HRT (hormone replacement therapy, taking Testosterone), I'll have to get a hysterectomy (removal of the womb), otherwise, there is a high risk of cancer.
Also, soonest possible I'll need to get top surgery (getting my chest fixed, having it flat), in order to elevate huge dysphoria.
I do not expect anyone to pay for my bottom surgery (to help getting me male parts down there), no matter how much dysphoria I suffer from, I feel I'm asking so much already. And without that I can still work, and I do want to work, I want to make my own money, instead of relying on others. And after that, to keep helping others in need!
However I'll still need to go to the UK to change my name, unless Hungary grows up and gives us equal rights. Which I really hope would happen... because the oppression and prejudgement is really bad here...
