Sacrificial Giving

Update posted by Michelle Clyde

Consider my previous update!

I have researched the number of Scripture verses that talks about Sacrificial Giving in the Bible. There are far more than 100 verses that talk about giving.

Since the Bible is the living Word of God, life’s instruction book, I want to be in the know about this topic and what the Word says! I am sharing a few verses with you!

Hebrews 13:16 (ESV) Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God!

Luke 6:38 (ESV) Give, and it will be given to you! Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Acts 20:35 (ESV) In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way, we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Mark 12:41-44 (ESV) And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

Deuteronomy 15:7-8 (ESV) “If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.”

Mark 10:45 (ESV) “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

In my own personal walk, sacrificial giving became a source of significant joy in my life! Grace produces a desire in you to give more, so in turn, it creates a personal desire to look for opportunities to give!

This is the very reason for my decision to walk and take up my calling to establish the Gifted Crown Company! A Company that I believe will educate the world about Jesus’s teachings to give. He will touch hearts, distribute His abundant grace and all the world will experience His absolute abundant joy!

Be blessed!
