FANTASTIC NEWS EVERYONE!

On Saturday at 15:31, we received this photo to announce that Mark had been sent home from the hospital exactly 2 weeks after the day of his 13 hour surgery. After consultations with his physio, speech therapist and cardiac specialist to establish whether Mark could cope with simple things at home, the decision was made to discharge him. He still has an extremely long road of recovery ahead as he manages the pain and rehabilitation but what an incredible step forward.

Updates on his recovery and rehabilitation will follow in the coming days. We are so happy to see you home Mark. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and kind messages.
