Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I want to sincerely thank everyone who so generously donated to Keolu’s surgery and treatment expenses.

It was well over a month ago our veterinarian diagnosed his cancer and treatment began. After a successful surgery removed his two tumors, Keolu’s enthusiasm and energy made his incision heal slower than we had hoped. Every time he got excited and jumped around it put pressure on his sutures which extended his healing time and delayed his homecoming.

But after a long stay in the hospital, he finally came home for rest and recuperation. Every day he improves and is in much better spirits. He still doesn’t like his cone or his clothes, but they help him avoid licking his wound. And when I’m at work his sister Ippo keeps him company and makes a good napping companion.

We have more visits ahead to monitor his progress and more tests to confirm his cancer treatment was successful. But the majority of his veterinary bills have been covered through your many donations. Without your support it would have been difficult to provide Keolu the needed care and support and for that we will always be grateful.

Thank you again for all your generosity. – Kazu & Keolu
