Cora was hospitalized again on Thursday, June 18 because she developed a fever and severe infection at the surgery site in her hind leg. The vet extracted 1/4 cup of infected fluid and immediately started antibiotic injections every 8 hours. Cora remained at the vet's until Monday, June 22. She came home with a drain implanted in the surgery site. Throughout this painful complication, Cora trusted the people working with her and never snapped. She has such a loving heart in spite of her suffering.
