His hemoglobin has already dropped to '2' this morning because of continuous internal bleeding. There are (3) factors contributing to his low hemoglobin and RBC count --- (1) the fungus itself (2) an anti-body that kills his newly produced RBCs and (3) internal bleeding possibly due to liver damage (since he's in strong medications for the past weeks) and the rare fungal infection he contracted.

He's now a bit confused. Very weak, cannot eat or drink because of the urgent medication to manage his bleeding. He is currently in tube feeding but since blood is flowing back from his NGT tube, they cannot start feeding Johan. Four (4) senior doctors are looking out on him with all urgency.
