Ongoing Rubbish Collection and an Interview

Update posted by Heike De Haan and Peduli Alam

Over the past two weeks the rubbish collection team have been busy doing a second round of clean up in the Desa Bunutan area (Amed). This has been made possible from the donations and ongoing support received from individuals, businesses, local and overseas.

Donations are used for the running cost of the truck and employing a team of locals (5 people).

Our fund raising is ongoing and we continue to ask for your support to be able to continue the work in keeping Desa Bunutan and surrounding villages clear of rubbish. We cannot do this without your support. Any amount big or small will help us to help the local community keep the streets, waterways and oceans clear and clean.
