I really have nowhere else to turn for help and am desperate. Have truly never felt so helpless in my life. My elderly Mom (72 years old) recently fell and broke her pelvic bone in two places, as well as a rib. She has been in hospital for weeks and thereafter in the Recovery hospital for another couple of weeks. The Medical Aid could not cover any more. We have tried to get her into a hospice (old age home), but the waiting lists are unbelievably long (it could take years...). She had to go home and learn to cope in a wheelchair & walking ring afterwards. Unfortunately she had three strokes in a months' time after that and was hospitalized again for a few days each time (during August & September of 2019). My elderly Father (75 years) cannot cope looking after my mother and we simply cannot afford a "home carer" - medical aid exhausted already and my Dad simply cannot afford it. We would really like to get my Mom a place in an Old Age home with a Frail care unit or even rent one if we can just help her to cope with her day to day living.

Because I am simply too proud to ask family and/or friends for assistance - this is my last hope!!! Any small donation would be appreciated from the bottom of my heart. We also have a lot of "abandoned" pets - 3 dogs & 4 cats which we love to bits and had a couple of huge vet bills the last couple of years to look after them with the love and special care they need.
