TWO LESS LONELY CHAINSAWS removed from our forests. We thank all of you who have given to our cause. Your funds have allowed us to patrol the Victoria-Anepahan mountain range in Central Palawan where our paraenforcers were able to confiscate two chainsaws on separate occassions. These were in the process of logging for the endangered ironwood or Mankono. From the DENR statistics, one chainsaw can cut 20 forest trees a day. Imagine if these two were allowed to operate freely 'til this day on to the new year. We are grateful for your help to keep our forests in tact. Salamat (thank you).
