Update as of 09/24/2019: #latepost Grandkapapo is brought home from the hospital. 💙 My mom let me talk to him on the phone on the night that he was discharged, and he said, "Hi Jaymie. Grandpa is home. I promise I will take care of myself, and behave." (This coming from somebody who keeps fidgeting, and taking off his wires) Me: Glad you're home, Gramps. Rest well. Goodnight. Love you. Gramps: Love you. My mom says Gramps was still hallucinating a bit because he said he was seeing fish swimming (hehe). I talked to my Grandma as well, who was also battling with knee problems, and sleepless nights due to anxiety. --- Right now, everybody is trying their best to heal, and be resilient after Grandpa had his tumor removed. In the midst of this "crisis", God remains to be faithful and allowed our family to celebrate small wins, and answered prayers 💙 My mom and aunt say that the medication is no joke, surgery, and hospital bills were higher than expected. But He has surrounded us with people who continue to help, and support the best way that they can.
