Girls Empowerment-Menstrual Awareness & Sanitary Towels Giving

Update posted by Eunice Achando

We are Community Based Organization aiming at giving vulnerable girls and women dignity they deserve. There is no dignity without basic necessities such as Sanitary Napkins.

Three times a year, in March, July and October we ask the public to donate Sanitary towels, this is to enable our Vulnerable girls and young women attend to school with fear and embarrasses.

We have our Drop Point at Dolphin Petrol Station Bondo.

The harsh reality is that Sanitary towels are prohibitively not affordable for many Vulnerable girls and women , making it difficult to maintain good menstrual Hygiene.

Lack of sanitary towels pushes girls out of school which results in absenteeism and increased dropout rate.

Girls education is critically important, and this right is affected when appropriate menstrual hygiene products are not provided.- this leads to infections, bad odor of menstrual blood due to infrequent change of cloths, a painful period and discomfort.

We can all spare a packet of Sanitary Napkin that costs as low as USD 0.50 to enable keep these young girls in school.

We can all make a different with minimum efforts.

Help Together With One Accord reach the mission. As we believe together we are strong.
