Wilbur's eye has continued to improve, and the eye specialist confirmed that he will be able to keep it. Wilbur should have at least partial sight as well. And now that some time has passed since Wilbur was under anesthesia it is time to move forward with treatment of his ear. On November 14th Wilbur will see a veterinary dermatologist since the kind of ongoing and severe ear infection is often caused by allergies. Currently his ear has completely closed up and we know it must be very painful for him. We have been told that Wilbur may need surgical intervention because of the chronic nature of these infections but we will know more after the appointment on the 14th.
