Vlad secretly reads the unpublished book, authored by his wife. The book places Adam Edwin, the main character, in the middle of some absurd events, but it creates Vlad's imaginative context to move on his own feet, as he is actually immobilized in a wheelchair due to an accident. After reading, Vlad discovers the elements he has in common with Adam, but the book it also contains other details of which he is unaware of, as if he was missing from his own life. Adam relives in a loop the story of his life, which actually takes place in one night, as a result of an experiment beyond any bounds of the natural.
