This is just one of the stories that I witnessed.

“It was my third day in the hospital. It was surprisingly quiet and calm until it changed within a blink of an eye. A woman rushed into the room with a tiny baby in her arms. He wasn't moving. As we found out just a second later he also wasn't breathing and his heart had stopped. Even though I am just a student within a seconds I became a part of resuscitation team. No monitor to show us if he is getting a heartbeat back, just a stethoscope and my ears.

"What if I am wrong?"

We weren't able to save him. That tiny little 2 month old baby without a sign of movement changed the way I look at world. The worst part of it all was, that if he was born back in Europe, none of this would ever happened.

This memory will keep pushing me to do all I can to change at least this part of the world for better. Therefore I need your help.”
