Thank you to everyone for your kind words of encouragement -- they have provided even more relief from my stress than the actual payments to the landlord on Saturday and that relief is beyond huge.

On the advice of friends, I have adjusted the target and deadline to more realistically reflect my immediate requirements.

The expiry date extended to 30 June 2019 (from 14 June) in order to stabilize the business moving forward.

I was in a bit of a spin last week when I set up this campaign using the figure on my eviction notice. When I made that payment on Saturday 15 June, the landlord apologized and said June rent was due as well or she would need the key by the end of the day.

In that moment, I realized I had repeated my mistake of not asking for enough in a moment of panic.

Lesson learned, thank you.

We then managed to raise enough on June 15 to settle the lease until June 30.
