To date with the help of our wonderful sponsors we have managed to produce and donate 80 padded beds to the SPCA Rand West and Woodrock Animal Rescue as well as some random animals in need. We are still aiming for 420 more and are having a fundraiser at private school, Heron Bridge College on the 28th of June where they are doing a blanket drive for us during their yearly polar bear swim. I am also in contact with Westpack who could possibly assist us by matching what we buy - IE I buy 200 blankets, they donate 200...It has to be bought bulk though so I am still trying to amass enough funds to buy a large amount of blankets in one go. I have also managed to get a sponsor, luxury dog brand, valgray.co.za have offered to donate R50 for every lead or collar they sell. They are also interested in making high end versions of our 'anxiety scarves', once again donating a % of the monies made on sales. SO, things aren't going as fast as I'd hoped but it IS gaining traction. Thanks once again for your valuable support, please keep spreading the word.
