This is a final update.

I was recently in Thailand and had a chance to visit Kishore at his tailor shop and meet his daughter and his wife and also give him the final installment of money which was raised through this site.

I’m happy to say that Anchu is now just a normal 3-year without any health issues. It’s been over 6 months since her open-heart surgery and the doctors say that she has completely recovered and shows no signs of any complications.

Kishore and his wife are also doing very well now, after a very stressful time last year. Kishore told me he has a newfound appreciation for his family’s health and even started exercising.

In the end we were able to raise almost $2,500 with this site and our 2 fundraiser events, which is quite incredible. Kishore was able to get an interest-free loan last year as well and he’ll be paying that off for the next 2 years.

I would like to thank all of you who generously donated to this cause. It is because of people such as yourselves that this girl is healthy and happy and has a bright future.
