Today marks Tatay's one month being hospitalized. He undergone tracheotomy early this morning and it went very smoothly.

Tracheotomy or tracheostomy is a surgical procedure of making an incision (cut) on the anterior aspect (front) of the neck and opening a direct airway through an incision in the trachea (windpipe).

We are very hopeful that this procedure will pave the way to win him off easily from the ventilator. Though his BP went below normal, he's currently taking fluids to normalize everything.
