Update as of May 2, 10:22AM (from our Mom who is with Stephen in the hospital)

Stephen only experienced little pain since last night and was able to sleep well. 🙏🏻

His NGT was removed this morning. 🙏🏻

He is still not allowed to ingest any liquid or solids/ NPO and will stay on bowel rest for the time being. Nutrition & hydration is being given still through TPN every 24 hours.

They will have him do another xray on Sat/Sunday to check his stomach. 🙏🏻

This is good news as improvements like this will lead to his recovery. Please continue praying for him that he may fully recover soon 🙏🏻

The doctor said that Stephen’s XRay showed that he has a lot of gas and fluid build up in his intestines. His NGT was reinserted to help decompress his stomach. Partial obstruction in the intestines is still visible.

As per Doc Resurrecion, Stephen is back in the same state as he was last week upon admission but they are hoping that this repeat phase will pass faster.

We were informed by Stephen’s doctor regarding his NGT reinsertion. Please keep praying for Stephen. ❤️🙏🏻

Update:

Please keep Stephen in your prayers. He was showing signs of improvement last Saturday& Sunday but as of yesterday and today he has been experiencing abdominal pains again. As of tonight, he has been having intense abdominal pains even with pain relievers being administered through IV. His doctor ordered him to get x-rays for his chest&stomach + blood test/s at around 12 midnight so that they can check what is happening. Results will be out later in the morning. We are hoping that his condition will improve so that he can avoid getting another surgery. Please keep on praying for his recovery and healing.
