Please Help us Fulfill our Mexican Dream for our Sweet Autistic Boy

Our adventure started 4 years ago when we decided to go to Mexico for a few weeks for a holiday vacation. We were very scared at the time as we never have traveled with our autistic child before. What an adventure it was! Upon our arrival, our son saw the ocean and it triggered something inside him, he was completely amazed by it. Within a few weeks, incredible changes started. Our son started talking, relating to others and seeking other children to play, something he would have never done before. So, we decided to stay a little longer. Than 2 months turned out to be 6 months, then 6 months turned out to be 2 years and now it has been 4 years. Our precious, sweet and beautiful son is getting better and better by the day! Now, 4 years later, our son is now talking, he has friends, he is going to a normal school and is doing so much more than what we expected. His diagnosis went from “Severe Autism” (at 18 months) to “Asperger’s” (5 years old) with a higher-than-normal intelligence. As parents, we are very happy we made this choice to help him.

Now we decided to make our adventure a permanent one. We bought a four-apartment building house that we want to renovate and start a small business of vacation rental for tourists to help us fund our life here. In the next six months, we will be renovating the first level of our house to turn it into a house for my small family. Then, the second level of our house will be split into two apartments for rental.

While we managed to fund most of our renovations, your support would be greatly appreciated in order to help us finalize our dream. We are seeking an extra $11,000 to finalize the first step of our renovations. The construction company is starting on Monday, April 29, 2019 and is expected to last about 6 months to 1 year.
