And it's gone! Home demolished by the children and we are ready for greater things. On Friday the 5th July 2019, the TLB arrives to level the site and get the road leading to the house acceptable. Thank you to Midlands Plant Hire for kicking off this extraordinary project and assisting with the most critical part, site prep! I promise to take many pictures! The best part is the youngest child celebrates a birthday on the 4th of July. I'm shopping for individual items for her birthday gift to make it all "real" for her. Her very first "own bedroom items" as a gift to not only celebrate her birthday, but to celebrate a safe home and a new dignity. And behind the scenes, Cost2Build, who have teamed up with us and have been a vital and fantastic support towards this project are busy redesigning the little house to make a few adjustments to the cost effectiveness of the design.
