Bella had an ultrasound done at the university, and the results were positive. No signs of internal bleeding or cancerous masses. Consequently the next step was to do a bone marrow biopsy, which was done on Wednesday. The results from that will not be available for a couple of weeks. Although Bella's red blood cell count has slowly declined she did not require a blood transfusion yet. She will need to be medically managed for now including frequent blood work, and if her condition declines she will need a transfusion.
