As all of us know, the conditions for animals in Bahrain are abysmal at times. Abused, poisoned, ran over, Bahrain stray dogs and cats truly live very short and devastating lives. Both of these pups were rescued from such situation. Malakai was rescued by none other than Tony the Dogfather. For all of us who knew Tony, we know how selective he was trusting people with adoptions. He trusted this wonderful family to adopt Malakai so many years ago where he found a wonderful home. Several years ago couple of volunteers rescued Zorro, who was dumped and was clearly abused. Sam family stepped in and provided a loving home. These dogs have been fortunate to grow up together, have a family who loves them and wishes for them to come home. However, as we know costs of relocation are quite high, especially when people are laid off and have no income. Zorro and Malaka's family is in South Africa and dogs are generously boarded free of charge at Bed & Biscuits. Family has a little boy who is desparately missing his dogs!
