Slim went in to his dermatology specialist for an exam and blood work. The dermatologist was concerned with Slim's liver and kidney values and therefore referred Slim to an internal medicine specialist. Today Slim visited the the internist and received an ultrasound and a battery of other tests. Thankfully he ultrasound did not reveal any major problems, but Slim's blood pressure was measured and was high. Some other tests are still pending, but the general assessment was that Slim's medications may have caused the problems with his blood work. Consequently his medications were adjusted and he was given a new prescription to address his high blood pressure. Once the remaining lab results come back the internist will decide whether any additional treatments will be needed.
