In September of this year, mum, dad and I traveled to Myanmar for the first time to visit Nu, Luca, Nong Sa and meet their extended family. It was an amazing trip! We spent most of our time in Mawlamyine, Nu’s hometown, and the island where Nu grew up. Mawlamyine is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, rivers, the ocean, and rice fields. The pagoda’s in the mountains were breathtaking. We also got to see where Luca and Nong Sa go to school. Here are some photos from the trip :)
