Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates - so much has happened in the past few weeks:

1. We have officially ended our fundraiser as of December 31, 2018 and we have raised ₱885,128.69! Thank you so much to everyone who has spread the word about our fundraiser and donated to our cause. We are also very grateful to everyone who has reached out with their words of support, kind thoughts, and continuous prayers - you have all helped to keep us strong throughout this journey.

2. After undergoing the first surgery to treat her infection, MG has undergone the rotationplasty surgery last January 18. While the surgery seemed successful initially, Grace encountered a complication in recovery - compartment syndrome - a painful and dangerous condition wherein increased pressure in her leg led to a decrease in blood flow to her nerves and muscles. She quickly had to undergo another surgery to treat this. Currently, Grace is still unable to move her foot and has not gained back full sensation in her foot She is due to stay in the hospital for an indefinitely longer period of time as her medical team needs to monitor her recovery for any other complications that may arise.

While Grace's rotationplasty surgery has been done, our fight to get Grace to walk again doesn't end here. Grace still has a long way to go in terms of recovery and being able to walk again - we're all optimistic and hoping for the best, and we want to thank you all again for your help and support in Grace's journey.
