Update on my grandfather's Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: As of Jan. 16, 2019, I got an update from the POC of Philhealth's Z benefits in Phil Heart Center that my father's application was approved by the panel of doctors. It's now in the process of securing all signatories from Philhealth and PHC (Phil. Heart Center) then we'll get a schedule for the operation.

Meanwhile, God has been working through the lives of the people who helped us come up with almost 50% of the amount we need as copay to the doctors' fees which is not included in the government's benefits. People from our VCF (Victory Christian Fellowship) family, former colleagues from the academe and corporate worlds, former students, former classmates, very good friends and sisters/brothers in Christ. I am greatly filled with emotions everytime I think of your kindness. I know all of you have your own crosses to bear yet you took time to extend kindness that I am not sure if I can ever pay back. Sobrang thank you. Sabi nga nila, si God na bahala. It will be returned to you tenfold! My father's gratitude for your kindness is beyond words. Thank you so much, nonetheless. 😍🤗

I know the journey is just coming to a start. We don't know what will happen when I update you with my father's schedule of operation. It's definitely far from over, we've just about to begin. There are still a lot of things to do; find blood donors, raise the amount which we still need before the actual day, for the expenses on the actual day and post operation recuperation. Not to mention ensuring that life will go on smoothly for my children as I deal with this major event for our entire family. With this, I am certain I can count on my father's entire family to be there for us. 😍🤗

There may be a lot of things that can cause stress and anxiety but I denounced those in the mighty name of Jesus! For we hold on to the promise of God that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, we declare great faith to be manifested in this time of big challenge! God will continue to be with us, especially with my father. God has brought us this far, and so He will carry us to a victorious end! In Jesus' name.
