We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving holiday. We did not celebrate this year, it was a regular day for Kurt. We hope next year's will be a day of celebration to make up for it.

Kurt visited a new doctor on Wednesday and it was recommended that he have inpatient supervision, but his insurance will not cover the cost. It was also recommended that he have a test no one has mentioned before - an MRA - magnetic resonance angiogram - to test his vascular functions and blood flow in his brain. Neurons will not function properly without at least 50% blood flow, and this is what the doctor suspects is happening. While ever the vascular flow is poor, Kurt is unable to think, speak, or function normally. when the flow is poor enough for long enough, memories cannot be formed and brain damage can occur. Unfortunately, this is another test not covered by insurance. We hope everyone can help a little and we can get this test done. Once we can pinpoint the problem, we can work on the solution and get Kurt back to the amazing man he is!
