The operation, Patent Ductus Arteriosus with Cardio Pulmonary Bypass, done last October 29, was successful. However, Pierre was found to have an infection post surgery - one that causes his heart rate to fluctuate between 70bpm to 150bpm - and requires intensive antibiotic treatment for a duration of four weeks at the Philippine Heart Centre. Currently his bill size is about 400,000 Pesos which equates to about $10,500SGD. His bill will continue to rise as he is still hospitalized for strict monitoring.
