Finally received the import permit for Sugar. Next stage is to have her blood taken and sent to a lab in Singapore for testing. They test for several kinds of diseases. The vet has to be a government approved facility to take the blood, 7ml total, and their lab has to turn 4ml of it into a clear serum through centrifuge. Her veins were too tiny, so in the end they had to take little bit from each foot. The blood was checked by a vet in Bangkok on the way to Singapore and we were informed that the serum was not enough. They need another 2.5ml. Took Sugar back to the same facility, this time they shaved her neck and took blood from her neck. Everything to Singapore. Not waiting patiently for the results. Hoping for the all clear. These tests has to be done within 30 days of her departure. She is scheduled to fly back this month.
