Hi Everyone, I wanted to give you all an update on my trip to Peru. I spent several hours at the children hospital talking to the social services assistants, mothers and doctors, running around buying, shopping for the best deals on medicines. And I spent a lot of money paying for medicines, medical equipment and medical services. I WILL RUN OUT OF MONEY! I am extending the fundraising one more day. I am going back to the hospital tomorrow morning. The need is great. But my heart is happy today because several children got items they needed for surgery, Gloria (14) got an MRI that her grandmother couldn’t not afford (she is an orphan), and I assured Maximo and Yarico moms that tomorrow they will have the medical equipment they need to be able to go back home and recover. I need about $1000 more to be able to bring medicine needed for heart surgery. I talked to the head of cardiology and this medicine will need to be brought from Chile as it is not possible to get it in Peru (the medicine has been waiting in customs forever and the government is not moving fast enough). Please, share and help!!! Any amount helps! Today I will be paying a prescription, the mom cant afford $30! Any amount! Thank you!
