Sadly the time has come to leave! South Africa, our beautiful country, is no longer a safe place to live or raise children.

We have decided to emigrate and leave our home where we were born and have chosen Panama as our future home. So many fellow South Africans would like to leave too, not because they do not love their country but because it is no longer safe to live here. Sadly the cost of emigrating is so much and not many can afford to do so. While we are more fortunate than others, in that we do have furniture and items we can sell to raise money , it falls far short of what we need to cover the cost of flights, emigration attorneys, visas, work permits, accommodation and living expenses once we have arrived in Panama.

We have chosen Panama as it is a safe and friendly country with a stable democratic government. It is really beautiful too.

I would like to use this platform to appeal to the public to raise funds for me and my extended family and others who are desperately needing to move out of this country to a safer country and better future. Any donation however large or small would be greatly appreciated.

A little bit about us. We are a family of 5 consisting of Me, Denise, my husband, our 2 daughters and Son. Our eldest daughter is married and has a family of her own. We have been blessed with 2 beautiful grandchildren, a boy and a girl. It is for the children that we want to move, to give them a safe and happy environment to grow up in. We would not be able to achieve this with the funds we have and there are many like us that cannot afford to move.
