Hi everyone!

It’s been 2 weeks since we launch our campaign to Build A Skatepark For Butuan City Youths. Though we might get a little busy with our own personal activities, my co- campaigner (Ethel Works) and I makes sure that little by little we are having progress with the endeavor of having this dream project come true.

Also, we are working together with BMX bike enthusiasts of Butuan City to cater to more groups and also provide a safer venue and playing ground for our fellow BMX riders.

As an update:

1- we are now finalizing the design of the proposed skatepark, through out partner architect and skateboarder enthusiast Christopher Juanico Alico after which, will be cost estimated by Mr. Francis Yu. Both have offered there kind service for the dream project.

2- we are also making the management plan for the skatepark and linking up with key persons from the provincial and city government to help us with this plan. We will not mention names as to avoid political conflicts for the project. THIS IS FOR THE PEOPLE OF BUTUAN, and is by the people of Butuan.

3- to show our support and how much we really want this to happen, we have also launch 2 fundraisings via gogetfunding (linked below) and facebook fundraiser. Both are efficient ways of raising funds for our counterpart in the creation of this project. As of today we have a total of $133.00 (~ Php 7,200.00) and 6 backers from the Philippines and abroad. If you know anyone who is willing to share a bit for the project, please do not hesitate to tag them, Message them and share this to them. Any little help is a big help for this project.

4- lastly, we are having a collaboration with our local artists to design shirts and other wearables (caps, jackets,etc) to help us with the fundraising. We hope that by November we can sell these items to help boost our campaign. It will be a great gift idea for the coming Christmas season and all year round.

Also, we have noticed a lot of detractors and negative vibes from some of our commenters. We would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations just yet. This is going to be a rough battle for us to win, but rest assured we will do our best to make this happen. Instead of putting doubts in what we are doing right now, why not help out by sharing this, tagging family and friends for the fundraising, and spreading the word that butuan skatepark is coming.
