Thank you to everyone who stepped in to Aid Ricky in donations, we are greatly appreciative of your generosity and kindness to our 10 year old schnauzer who lost his proprioception and down with a sudden infection on Monday 27 Aug 2018. We are now getting ready to get an update with the vet after medication to see if there is still infection in him as it was last tested that his white blood count is high.

Currently Ricky's proprioception is imperfect, his shoulder when he tries to stand is bent and 2 legs are very weak.

He only stands for awhile and then just stumbles down. It's a good sign though as he previously was not able to stand for even 3 seconds. Now he has some energy in him to stand for awhile which is good.

Medical cost incurred will continue to build up as we will be consulting 2 doctors ( 1 Western & 1 TCM ) he may need to do a spine scan to see if he has a slipped disc to get a confirmation diagnosis which could amount to 1000+ Medication is very expensive too for both Western and TCM, Western medication cost about $200+, TCM medicine is about $600+ for the herbs. That will be a long term treatment which will incur a lot of money.
