My transplant coordinator has booked two of the major tests - MRI and Fibroscan at Gleneagles JB next Wednesday 15 August! This will enable us to have some cost savings - the estimated bill is about RM3000 or about SGD1000. The balance of whatever has been raised will continue to be put towards other transplant costs - other Phase 2 & 3 tests which may cost us another SGD4000 or so (shown in the table below provided by my SGH transplant coordinator). We are still discussing whether some of the more costly tests (e.g. the CT Angiogram & CT Post-Processing) can also be done in Gleneagles JB.
