We arrived in Dharamshala yesterday from Rishikesh and we are planning to start our journey in mid June, in Rishikesh we managed to treat a few dogs for mange and gave lots of food and love to many more.

We also went into the slum near rishikesh city to give out a small amount of clothing and Jenny was involved in an amazing project with a group of circus performers who went in the slum and through the city doing a range of performances for the local children, this received an amazing response gathering crowds of hundreds of happy little faces and even a feature on the local news!

We are now staying in dharamshala for a short time where I am working online trying to raise as much money as I can for the journey.

We also met a local homeopath here who works with rescue animals and she has kindly offered to teach us how to make a whole range of herbal remedies for common ailments for both humans and animals. Many we can make with fairly inexpensive ingredients so we will stock our van up with as much as we can and make them all along the way for anyone we come across in need.

Our next stop will be Delhi to finalise our visas for Pakistan and Iran and purchase our vehicle and supplies for the journey. Here we will also finalise all the paperwork and get the microchip for Gaia, our puppy we rescued from Kathmandu.

Things are coming together and flowing nicely and we are so grateful for all of the support and positive responses we have received already, huge thank you to all!
