Merry Christmas everyone, albeit in strange and sadly constrained circumstances. Roll on the vaccines! But here is some REALLY good news after a very long interval since my last update. The gap doesn't mean that little or nothing has happened. Far from it. The Treehouse is now fully funded thanks to wonderful generosity, persistence and the faith shown by all involved. But long meetings and discussions about cost, design, challenges such as underground cables etc do not make for lively reading. But look at this! My picture shows the Treehouse BEING BUILT AT LAST! This is the steel sub-structure jutting out into the trees, to take the patients at Holy Cross up among the branches and into a whole new outdoors experience. My next and final update will bring you pictures of the finished building and news of opening times and plans. In the meanwhile, I hope that you and yours continue safe, well and in good heart as we slog through what we all hope are the final months of the pandemic. Thank you so much again for your generosity.
