Hello everyone!

First of all, we are so thankful for the overwhelming support that everyone has provided in this project. We actually didn't expect that we will be able to gather funds this fast but thanks to everyone's kindness and willingness to join and how people also shared info about this project, we are really almost there to finally reaching the goal! So really thank you!

Anyways as you all know we are posting this to provide an update. Some of you might have noticed that we have raised the goal from US$400 to US$500. We would like to be transparent as much as possible so we will explain here the reason for such.

• Firstly, we apologize as this is because we have overlooked the fees that Paypal takes for each donation. Besides the fees of 4% per donation that GoGetFunding deducts, PayPal also takes a bigger fee off the donations you send us (due to conversion fees etc.). To give evereyone an idea, for every 15$ donation, only around 13$ go to us. The fees are even larger for larger donations; we can roughly say around 10-15% of the donation goes to PayPal and GoGetFunding fees. The flower stand price is still the same, around US$400, but because of the fees, even if the page here says we have surpassed the original goal amount, the total amount is still way below it. Us, Mari and Aoi (the organizers), are still yet to include the amount we will also add from our own pockets here, but even with that it still wouldn't cover everything, because of the next bullet point below.
• Apparently, there is a separate shipping fee of the stand from the flowershop to the venue, and it's not included in the flowerstand price of US$400. Since this is a huge stand and would require special shipping service (which means more expensive price), and the venue is in Chiba which is outside and far from Tokyo (at least 1 to 2 hours by train?), it might take another US$50 just for the shipping service fee.

This update is to provide explanation why we have made some changes, and we would also want to reassure everyone that your donations will rightfully all go to this project as how we have planned. Nothing has changed, the rewards will still be intact as well. But because we have overlooked some things before we started this campaign as organizing something like this is also a first for both of us, we have set the goal too low and have decided to raise it a bit so that we can still be able to proceed as planned. Also, we still have until end of May as the last deadline so if more people still want to join this project then we will more than happy to accomodate everyone and let Shoutan know that there are a lot of people from overseas who are supporting him. :)
