Update on my Medical Journey

Update posted by Ana May Dominique de Dios

The first campaign was a success as I was able to get the first treatment done at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. Thanks to those who donated and helped raise funds for me. The left over money amounting to at least 50,000 pesos was used in my daily rehabilitation expenses and monthly medicines and doctor's fees.

From UST Rehabilitation Center (which is far from my home), I was transferred to Cardinal Santos Medical Center to continue my rehabilitation (Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy). Due to lack of funds, as this rehab is not covered by my Philhealth benefit, I ask for your help for me to be able to walk on my own again and to be fit for work as my cognitive function and concentration is affected by the never ending seizures once in a while.

My doctor advised a second session of the treatment called the rTMS(repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation). Due to lack of funds for hospitalization, I haven't done the 2nd treatment session which will be on my right brain (the first one was done on my left brain).

I am still continuing rehabilitation and I really really need your help to fund my rehabilitation therapies. I do PT 3x a week and OT for 2x a week. I barely have enough because I also have to fund my food and transportation. Since I still can't cook on my own, I rely on fast food as it's the only thing I can do for now.
