Hello everyone, EID MUBARAK! We wanted to share with you two important updates.

Firstly, with your help and support - Mahmud Bhai has been able to free himself from his debt and he has also managed to set up an orphanage cum Islamic School in his village in Bagerhat. We will continue to be involved with his venture by giving him advice and trying to help as and when we can in future.

Secondly, with a generous amount of donation received in the recent past, we have opened a Fixed Deposit from which we aim to receive a certain amount of money every year (interest), something which we will award as scholarships to eligible students in a primary school in Meherpur with which Papa and his father (our grandfather) were involved.

We believe this will ensure a continuous benefit on a yearly basis and we can increase our outreach of help to eligible students every year with the interest gained from the Fixed Deposit. Papa dedicated his professional life to the field of education and we believe this arrangement to give back to his school in Meherpur will be a suitable gesture.
