Surpassing doctors estimate!

Update posted by Melissa Domeier

Quite a bit has happened since our last update in January.

It's seems like such a short time, but for Phil and those who have been nearby, taking care him, it's been a long tedious road.

Anyone who knows Phil, can tell you, he can put up a good fight. Phil fought to stay around much longer than the doctors estimated. He was able to celebrate a few holidays, like Valentine's, Easter and a couple important birthdays.

Phil wasn't able to make his Spaghetti dinner fundraiser, on February 24, because of the weather. If he caught any type of sickness, like the flu or cold, it would not work well with him.

The Spaghetti dinner, turned out to be so wonderful!!! The amount of gifted donations and people, who came out to show their love and support, was a true gift from God! The Rypinski family had tears of joy in their eyes, and a lost for words. It was remarkable!

Due to everyone's support, the Rypinski family will be able put on a celebration of his life, the way he deserves.

Thank you, to all who donated funds, elbow grease, prayers and most of all, your love!

On April 4, 2018, Phil's doctor came to visit him. He was very surprised to hear he had a somewhat normal diet. He was able to eat sandwiches and solid foods. If the doctor ever ate at the Rypinski's house, he would understand why Phil wasn't giving that stuff up.😉

The doctor commended the family on how great Phil looked. The condition of his skin was nice, and had no signs of bed sores. Although his muscle mass had deceased, he could still move around, but no walking.

On April 5, Phil celebrated his 55th birthday, and was indulging in his favorite, Casada cake!

On April 16, Phil was able to be with his wife, for a little while on her birthday.

That morning, at 2:45am, Phil no longer had to imagine, what it is like, to be by the Lord's side. He is now walking side by side, surrounded by his glory.

Phil was home with his family, 13 weeks more, than his doctors projected. We all know he fought to stay longer, but as stubborn as he might be, he knows when has to listen.

Please stop by to celebrate Phil's life on:
