Lwanele has been in hospital since 21 March 2018. He's been through a lot. He's had his 4th operation which was to do a nissen, to dilate his oesophagus and to do a peg for him to feed from. He aspirates so that's why they had to do a peg for him. He doesn't eat anything through the mouth.

Lwanele now has a dependence on the respirator. He's on oxygen 24/7.

The plan is to discharge him soon and he'll be going home with nurses and a suction and oxygen equipment.

The bills have been pilling up and I keep fighting with the medical aid to pay for his expenses because the treatment he's received and still needs are not luxury. He NEEDS every help he can get.
