Recently, it opened its first retirement center for working dogs who have served the country through the military. A Safe Haven for Dogs. Houndhaven, Inc. rescues dogs and puppies from euthanasia at kill shelters. They are cared for until they can be placed in loving homes or with another rescue group. They believe that lives are precious and follow a strict "no kill" organization. Their mission is life.
