Miss Amity is finally settling in and understanding, she will never have to endure anything she went through before.

She is going through a strict every two hour portion controlled feeding program to work her body back into being able to process food properly.

She was infested with Hook and Round worms and is undergoing a Medication and Iron supplement plan to treat that.

She has been started on a suppliment and physical rehab program to help rebuild the muscle mass that has deterorated away. This is what is making it difficult for her to walk/jump currently. Her body has broken down all her muscle mass to survive. Her physical therapy is to help build that back to suppoprt her.

We are waiting on results Monday to see how her body is processing and functioning. We are all paws in the air hoping we have positive results.

For the weekend, she is comfortable, on her daily medications and medicated baths. She's learning what unconditional love is, and learning that she will never have to sleep with one eye open again. Please keep her in your thoughts for positive results coming in Monday!
