The Shunt removal procedure on Dmitri's will be done either this week or next week...the family is just waiting for the clearance from the pulmonologist. After removing the shunt, they will insert a tube in Dimdim's head to drain the Pus ("nana") in his brain. The tube will remain in his head until all pus are totally drained & removed. They have been trying to remove the pus for the past 2 weeks already, please see below picture, but when they did the CT scan this week, it turned out that only 1/4 of the pus was drained. The color is already orange-reddish because of the combination of blood and pus.

Below is a picture of the shunt in his belly (shunt connected to his head) - according to the doctor, shunt is already soiled so it needs to be replaced soon.

Once the pus is fully drained from his head/brain, another operation will be performed to place a new Shunt,
