First I want to thank all of you for the love and support you have sent my way. Also a BIG SHOUT OUT to Suzanne Whang as she has been an amazing support to me, and pushes me to put myself out there.

So, this is me putting myself out there!

I'm doing well. My chemo was initially knocking me out, so my oncologist Dr. Hoffman reduced the dosage, and then it went great. Now I'm in the middle of radiation treatments every weekday, Monday thru Friday, and I need rides to and from Cedars Sinai and back, being picked up at 12:15 pm for my 1:45 pm appts. I've been driving myself there every day, and I get very tired and queasy which makes driving unsafe, so Suzanne has been yelling at me to ask for help. I have another 2 months of radiation left.

Also, I found out that at some point, I will need heart surgery to burn a valve so that my heart rate will stay low ~ when that valve gets stuck, my heart rate shoots up to 170 bpm and causes chest pain and shortness of breath, and my throat closes. I will also need knee surgery on both of my knees. Whew!

Friends, I am also still needing your financial support. For the last few months, I did not work as much as I would have liked to, and the next few months I will need more financial support for my bills as they are overwhelming me at this moment. I know I will get past this, but right now I am reaching out so that I can get support, focus on my healing, and not stress out about money. My oncologist keeps telling me that it's bad for me to stress out, and yet while I'm under financial duress, it's been very difficult for me to relax.

Any amount of money or time you can donate to me would be INCREDIBLE to get me through the next few months, and then I will be ready to rock & roll.

And finally, I need a new roommate. My beautiful Spanish style ranch house is in Van Nuys, on Valerio St. between Kester and Van Nuys Blvd, north of Sherman Way. Available NOW.

The house is about 2500 square feet inside. Hardwood floors throughout the house. Big living room with fireplace, great kitchen, and separate dining room. Central A/C and heat. Huge backyard and pool! Washer/dryer on site, in the kitchen.

$1250/month for sharing a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The rent includes water/gas/electricity/wifi (I pay all the utilities). $600 security deposit.

You have your own private bedroom and bathroom. Your bedroom is 13' x 11', and it has a nice window with plantation shutters, a closet, and a ceiling fan. Your bedroom has a queen-size bed and side drawers and dresser in the room if you want those furnishings, or you can bring your own.

Because I am gay, I would prefer a liberal open roommate. Gay male or gay-friendly male would be ideal. Responsible tenant. NON-SMOKER is a must. Feel free to cut and paste this onto your own Facebook wall or email it to anyone you think might be interested.

I am an event planner and caterer, so there is normally great food around, and I COOK!

I am sociable and I like to use the pool and spend time in the backyard.

I also have flower beds ready to plant if you love gardening. Was thinking of doing vegetables in the beds.

Plenty of parking in the semi-circular driveway.

I work from home, so I would ideally like someone that has a 9 to 5 job during the week, but that's not mandatory.

I have a Great Dane, a Shepadoodle (German Shepherd and Poodle mix), and a cat. They are all gentle and sweet.

I will need at least 3 personal references, and a credit check.

This is not a party house, so if you are a partier, this would not work. No heavy drinkers or drug users. Occasional 420 is all right.
