It's been almost one month since my parents took in Karma and then Kisa was found and returned. It has been quite a ride.

Kisa has been to the vet more times than I can remember. After her vomiting cleared up she continued to have multiples episodes a day of dry heaves/coughing. It could have been a respiratory issue or a parasite. She went on new special food and needed additional medicine, but her symptoms are finally disappearing and we are more consistently seeing the same cat we lost back in June.

As for Karma, despite just meeting us has been so friendly and trusting of us, even after her adorable kittens were born (though she did once steal a kitten while I was weighing him.) Three of the kittens will almost surely be double their birth weight today and if not today, the littlest one will follow tomorrow.

Let me introduce you to these cuties.

First born and likely only girl: Pixie (she'll look just like her Momma.)

Second born with bright orange and white markings: Kyo

Third born, dark tabby and smallest of the bunch: Zuko Heath (dad and brother both chose to name this one and decided to merge their choices.)

Fourth born, muted orange and white and biggest of the bunch: Brees

The total spend for Kisa and Karma is close to, if not already exceeded, $3,000. We appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide and are so very thankful to those who have already supported these two kitties plus kittens.
