Baby Caliegh was born not like a normal child because she didn't cry and only to find out that Her heart beat stopped so the doctors need to do the resuscitation. We rush her to another hospital as per advice Because my baby needed facility such as respiratory machine/ventilator and incubator for a new born baby so we transferred to FEU NICANOR REYES MEDICAL FOUNDATION. We really didn't know how much it cost us all I know is to save Caliegh's life so they observed her and they told us that she has a pneumonia and sepsis. They inject a lot of antibiotics and gave her some medicines that I'm not aware of I trusted them believing that they did everything to revive my baby. Then days goes by spending our time in the hospital monitoring baby Caliegh in the pediatric Intensive Care Unit or PICU then weeks are coming and we're advised that we might stay longer in the hospital. They told us that Caliegh is posible for Cerebral palsy due to HIE/Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy because she lacked oxygen from her brain and our hearts were broken when we heard about it. Imagine how hard for the parents to accept that because we know she might encounter a lot of challenges. Then on our third week the billing and collections representative spoke to us about our hospital bill asking additional cash deposit. They said that we have to settle at least half of our bill because its cost more than 400,000 in our third week they added to our emotional depression also give us pressure. We spoke to account officer and beg them to allow us to stay in PICU just to continue the procedures for baby Caliegh's medication and thank God they allow us to stay but they informed us that we need to buy the medicines everyday and pay in cash all laboratory procedures needed which were very expensive because we need to find funds to sustain the daily medication. Antibiotics costs almost 20,000 pesos everyday. We're still in the hospital for more than a month as of now our bill is more than 700,000 pesos and getting bigger everyday that's why we are here knocking on your kind hearts for what ever help you may extend to baby Caliegh.
