Recently my female german shepherd called paloma was diagnosed with cancer. We took her one monday(May 29) morning because she was having trouble peeing and her belly was abnormally large. She had an emergency surgery because she was diagnosed with pyometra, her uterus was inflamed and filled with puss. During the surgery they discovered she had a tumor that was blocking her urethra and that was the cause of her being unable to pee. The tumor was cancerous and she was put on a chemotherapy treatment. But today(June 4th) she pulled her stiches out and had part of her abdominal muscles outside of her body. The doctor said she was severly dehydrated and was in a pretty bad shape and she might need a blood transfusion. By this point we have paid close to 1,000 dollars and she's still under treatment. We need all the help we could get.
