After the successful run that my other campaign has gone through (I have received 80%+ to be able to present my MA thesis in Indiana, click here to see), I have decided to see if there are more gracious people willing to donate to this PhD student and her travels. Presenting my research in conferences is not only an awesome trvael experience, but also an experience in which I can connect with other people in my fields (students and professionals alike) as well as spread the message that underlines most my research: breaking down walls between the Deaf communities and the hearing communities through information. In many of my conferences, such as this one I will attend, many of the attendees are educators and linguists that have never worked with Deaf children or have had little contact with the Deaf community. Let's empower these professionals with information with great pride.
